Drilling Has Started at Prismo Metals' Palos Verdes Project
Vancouver, BC / ACCESSWIRE / September 24, 2024 / Prismo Metals Inc. (CSE:PRIZ)(OTCQB:PMOMF)(FSE:7KU) announced the commencement of drilling at its Palos Verdes project in Mexico. Hole PV-24-34, part of a collaborative program with Vizsla Silver Corp (TSXV:VZLA), was initiated on Vizsla's property. The first hole’s planned length is 250 meters, with a total of 1,250 meters expected for this phase.
Dr. Craig Gibson, Co-Founder and Chief Exploration Officer, stated that the objective is to explore the vein system west of the fault, below previous high-grade intercept zones. Last year's notable assay from hole PV-23-25 yielded 102 g/t gold, 3,100 g/t silver, and 0.26% zinc over 0.5 meters.
As of early August, Prismo's team, along with Vizsla, prepared for the drill program. Utilizing Vizsla’s drill pads allows for more efficient target testing. Alain Lambert, CEO of Prismo, emphasized the joint efforts and adherence to Vizsla’s protocols.
Lambert expressed excitement about resuming drilling the Palos Verdes vein system, expecting an active second half of 2024 with results from both the Palos Verdes vein and the Hot Breccia copper project.
