Drivers Domain UK reaches milestone in post-Covid driving confidence training
Since Covid restrictions were lifted in 2021, Drivers Domain UK has recorded a record number of people experiencing driving confidence issues. In February 2024, the organization trained its 10,000th client since restrictions ended, marking a significant rebound after a nearly 18-month business interruption due to the pandemic.
Lockdowns have had the effect of significantly reducing the time people spend behind the wheel, exacerbating the discomfort and anxiety associated with driving for many. From drivers requiring simple retraining to those suffering from severe anxiety exacerbated by the stress of the pandemic, Drivers Domain UK has been able to meet a wide range of needs. The company also finds that many of its clients with severe anxiety are car accident survivors, an often underestimated aspect of accident impact.
The pandemic has also encouraged awareness and openness about mental health issues, leading more people to seek help. To make their services easier to access, Drivers Domain UK has overhauled its online booking system, allowing full customization of driving confidence courses, doubling its sales conversion rate from 2% to 4%.
