Eagle Plains Completes 2024 Fieldwork, Receives Drill Permit for Adamant REE Project
Eagle Plains Resources Ltd. (TSX-V:EPL) has concluded its 2024 fieldwork at the Adamant Property, situated 80 km NE of Revelstoke, British Columbia. The property spans 10080 ha and hosts significant Rare Earth Element (REE) mineralization within syenite, carbonatite, and pegmatite dyke systems. Concurrently, the BC Ministry of Energy, Mines and Low Carbon Innovation has granted a Multi-Year Area Based Permit (MYAB) for the Adamant Property, covering geophysics, mechanical trenching, and diamond drilling.
This summer’s fieldwork, executed by TerraLogic Exploration Ltd., aimed to expand known dyke swarms and assess new targets. Completed in early September, the program yielded 23 rock samples and 2 stream-silt samples, alongside scintillometer survey traverses.
Key activities included prospecting in the Kin Far West Zone and follow-up work on historic anomalies in the northern Amy-Carmen Trend. Analytical results from the 2024 fieldwork are pending and will be made public once available.
The Adamant Project, acquired by Eagle Plains in 2021 and 2022, has a history of significant mineral findings dating back to 1956. The company is seeking a partner to advance the project's development.
