Eagle Royalties Ltd. Announces 30,000m Drill Program in Yukon
Eagle Royalties Ltd. has disclosed a 30,000m diamond drill program at Banyan Gold Corp.'s AurMac project in central Yukon. The company's royalty interests range from 0.5% to 2% on claims around the Airstrip and Powerline areas. Banyan aims to expand and define zones in these areas, focusing on higher grade, near-surface targets.
Previously, Banyan reported significant results, with drill hole AX-24-590 revealing 15.9m at 9.32 g/t gold. At Powerline, drilling in 2024 showed intersections over 50 gram-metres, notably AX-24-540's 23.1m at 5.68 g/t gold. Test recoveries showed 93% at Powerline and 90% at Airstrip using conventional processing options.
Eagle Royalties relies on public information for analysis. Although company interests cover portions of AurMac’s resource, detailed geological data and surveyed drill locations are pending. This program highlights Eagle's strategy to leverage strong royalty interests in crucial mining assets.
