EasyJet Announces Share Awards for Key Executives
On December 12, 2024, EasyJet announced the granting of Deferred Share Bonus Plan (DSBP) awards to key personnel. Executives including Johan Lundgren and Kenton Jarvis received nil-cost options as part of their bonus conversion to shares. Additionally, Robert Birge's shares are conditional awards. These awards will vest after three years, conditional upon ongoing employment.
Additionally, the company granted Restricted Share Plan (RSP) awards. Notably, Kenton Jarvis, Robert Birge, and Sophie Dekkers were recipients. These awards also come with a three-year vesting period, subject to performance conditions detailed in the 2024 Annual Report. Jarvis will have an additional two-year holding period, aligning with his CFO role transitioning to CEO.
Of note, Robert Birge's transaction involved the vesting of 81,473 shares, with a portion sold to cover tax liabilities at £5.88 per share, retaining 43,084 shares. Further details are available in the company's report and ongoing disclosures.
