Eddie Bright Jr. Named 2024 DE&I Influencer as Global CEO of ApTask
ISELIN, NJ / ACCESSWIRE / May 23, 2024 / ApTask Global Workforce Solutions, a certified African American- and veteran-owned firm, announced that its Global CEO, Eddie Bright Jr., has been named a 2024 DE&I (Diversity, Equity & Inclusion) Influencer.
Bright rejoined ApTask in 2023 as majority owner and global CEO. He previously served as president and global CEO of HCM Staffing and Consulting Group. Bright is known for his advocacy for diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environments.
Under Bright's leadership, ApTask launched the Veteran Hub Program to support the transition of veterans to civilian life. The company also partnered with West Side High School, training 12 students with workforce-ready skills. Ten of these students have joined ApTask as full-time recruiters in their GenZ Recruiting division.
Additionally, Bright hired an executive to improve workplace accessibility and belonging, focusing on hiring practices for individuals with various disabilities.
