Eiffage Génie Civil and VINCI Construction Win €400 Million Water Treatment Contract
Eiffage Génie Civil and Chantiers Modernes Construction, a subsidiary of VINCI Construction, have secured a major contract with Veolia. The project entails the design and construction of three water treatment plants for the Syndicat des Eaux d’Île-de-France (SEDIF). The total value of the contract exceeds €400 million, which will be equally divided between the two companies.
The scope of the contract includes the design and building of frameworks for new low-pressure reverse osmosis (LPRO) treatment plants. It also involves upgrading the power supply for facilities in Neuilly-sur-Marne and Choisy-le-Roi, converting the Méry-sur-Oise plant to incorporate LPRO technology, and undertaking demolition and foundational works.
The contract also covers constructing ancillary buildings and upgrading high-voltage transformer substations and connection networks. LELLI Architectes and MVRDV are tasked with providing architectural services for the Choisy-le-Roi and Neuilly-sur-Marne facilities, respectively.
