Ekosem-Agrar AG Publishes Operational Information for H1 2024

Walldorf, 3 September 2024 – Ekosem-Agrar AG, the German holding company of Russian milk producer EkoNiva Group, released its operational data for the first half of 2024. The company produced 665,500 tonnes of raw milk, a 7% increase compared to the same period last year. The raw milk price showed less volatility, resulting in single-digit percentage increases. Daily milk output rose by 7% to 3,656 tonnes.

The company highlighted the introduction of advanced information systems like EkoFeed and EkoCrop, improving feeding and production efficiency. The cattle count averaged 247,400, including 115,000 dairy cows. Processed dairy product volume jumped by 27% to 162,100 tonnes, with cheese production more than doubling.

EkoNiva expanded its retail network to 65,900 points of sale in 70 Russian regions, introducing new cheese products including mozzarella and opening twelve new brand shops. Additionally, agricultural operations harvested 163,600 tonnes of dry fodder, a 17% increase.
