ElecLink suspends operations for inspection
On May 19, 2025, ElecLink decided to temporarily suspend operations due to a minor cable misalignment detected outside the tunnel in the United Kingdom. This precautionary measure allows for necessary inspections and testing to be carried out within a limited area. Operations are expected to resume on June 2, 2025.
This suspension, although planned for a short period of two weeks, will impact the company's revenue. ElecLink estimates commercial losses of approximately €20 million for this period, due to the disruption of services and the impact on short-term auctions.
