Electric Metals Confirms Highest Grade Manganese Resource in North America

Toronto, ON / ACCESSWIRE / May 27, 2024 / Electric Metals (USA) Limited (TSXV:EML)(OTCQB:EMUSF) has announced the filing of the upgraded Mineral Resource Estimate for its wholly-owned Emily Manganese Project in Minnesota. The estimate confirms the highest grade manganese resource in North America.

At a 10% cutoff grade, Indicated Resources increased by 20.9% to 6.2 million metric tons with a grade of 19.27% manganese, while Inferred Resources surged by 596.5% to 4.9 million metric tons with a grade of 17.50% manganese. The resource expansion is largely due to new drilling.

The 2023 drilling program, conducted by subsidiary North Star Manganese Inc., saw 29 new holes drilled, with 22 reporting zones of over 25% manganese. Notably, 19 holes intercepted significant zones of 35% to +50% manganese. Current manganese extractions exceed 95% recovery.

CEO Brian Savage emphasized the Company's forward plan to convert resources into mineable reserves and advance metallurgical testing to optimize production of high-grade manganese chemicals and products.
