Elmos Semiconductor Reports Q2 2025 Sales Growth Despite Challenges

Stock price chart of ELMOS Semiconductor AG (EBR:ELG) showing fluctuations.

Elmos Semiconductor SE recorded a 14.8% sales increase in Q2 2025, reaching €145.7 million, compared to the previous quarter, and a 2.6% rise from the same period last year. Despite facing negative exchange rate effects, demand from China for Elmos' latest integrated circuits contributed to this growth. CEO Dr. Arne Schneider noted the return to normal order levels despite a challenging economic environment.

Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) decreased to €30.1 million due to extraordinary SAP transformation costs and higher material expenses. The EBIT margin also declined to 20.6% from 25.3% the previous year. Capital expenditures reduced dramatically, totaling €4.6 million or 3.2% of sales, impacting cash flow due to the SAP transition.

The fiscal 2025 guidance remains, with expected sales of €580 million ± €30 million and an EBIT margin of 23% ± 3 percentage points. However, the lower range is more probable due to ongoing one-time effects.
