ElringKlinger Shows Resilience Amid Market Pressures in Q2 2025
ElringKlinger AG reported an improved operating profit for Q2 2025, showcasing resilience against challenging market conditions. Group revenue was EUR 408.3 million, down from EUR 445.0 million in Q2 2024, largely due to currency factors and divestments. However, an organic growth of 4.8% was recorded.
The adjusted EBIT margin increased to 5.9% from 5.0% in the previous year, reflecting a focused transformation strategy. The E-Mobility segment significantly boosted revenue, with a 126% increase to EUR 40.0 million, highlighting the success of strategic initiatives like the SHAPE30 transformation plan.
Despite declining revenues in Germany and North America, ElringKlinger saw a stable trajectory in Europe and a positive response in the Asia-Pacific region. Investments in property, plant, and equipment rose to support expansion in e-mobility projects.
In light of these results, ElringKlinger remains optimistic about maintaining its financial guidance for 2025, despite unfavourable global economic trends predicted for the year's second half.
