ENCAVIS Acquires Ready-to-Build Wind Farm in Germany
ENCAVIS AG, listed on the MDAX, has acquired a ready-to-build wind farm in Dannhausen, Lower Saxony, with a planned capacity of 18 MW. The acquisition expands ENCAVIS' wind portfolio in Germany to over 300 MW. Construction of the wind farm will begin shortly, with grid connection expected in early 2026.
The wind farm will feature three V150 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 6 MW and a hub height of 166 meters. Once completed, the turbines will generate approximately 42 GWh of electricity annually. The electricity purchase will be secured via an EEG feed-in tariff with a 20-year term. Financing for the project has been arranged through a German bank.
"With this acquisition, we are expanding our wind farm portfolio in Germany and strengthening our domestic generation capacity," said Mario Schirru, CIO/COO of ENCAVIS AG.
