Energiekontor AG Secures Building Permits for Wind Parks in Germany and Scotland
Energiekontor AG has received building permits for four wind park projects in Germany and Scotland, with a combined generation volume of around 160 megawatts. This marks a significant expansion of the company's project pipeline.
In Germany, the company obtained permits for a wind park in North Rhine-Westphalia, expected to generate 11 megawatts. Another project in Brandenburg was granted permission in June 2024, with a capacity of 48 megawatts.
In Scotland, Energiekontor received permits for two wind parks in early July 2024. Each project is expected to generate 50 megawatts.
Peter Szabo, CEO of Energiekontor AG, stated that these permits are a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy, reinforcing its position in Germany and Scotland.
