Energy S.p.A. Acquires 90% of Enermore S.r.l. and Expands into Germany, Austria, and Switzerland

Energy S.p.A., an Italian leader in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), announced the acquisition of 90% of Enermore S.r.l., a company specializing in storage system installation and maintenance. The acquisition aims to extend Energy's services into Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.

Enermore S.r.l. has a strong presence in the D-A-CH area and offers consultancy, design, and control services for large-scale storage systems. The acquisition, expected to close by mid-June 2024, aligns with Energy’s strategy to enhance its technical service portfolio in the renewable energy sector.

The €2.2 million transaction will be conducted in cash. Enermore reported sales of €3.8 million and an EBITDA of €0.5 million for 2023. CEO Davide Tinazzi highlights the acquisition's benefits in providing more engineering support and the ability to address complex projects in the D-A-CH area.
