ZimZam 2025: Catalyzing Energy Investments in Southern Africa
The Zimbabwe–Zambia Energy Projects Summit, known as ZimZam 2025, is set to take place from November 26 to 28 in Livingstone, Zambia. Hosted by Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC), the event will convene key energy and investment figures to propel Southern Africa's energy development. The focus is on investment opportunities and renewable projects, highlighting the region's drive to convert energy commitments into operational projects.
ZimZam 2025 arrives at a crucial time, spotlighting regional initiatives like the Chisamba 100MW Solar Farm and the Zambia–Tanzania Interconnector. The summit aims to tackle challenges such as transmission and bankability and will be attended by over 40 developers, including Engie and Globeleq. Guest of honor His Excellency Mr. Makozo Chikote, Zambia’s Minister of Energy, will address the summit, emphasizing regional cooperation and investment in energy.
