ENGIE Board Proposes Reappointment of Catherine MacGregor as CEO
ENGIE's Board of Directors announced the proposal to renew Catherine MacGregor's mandate as a Board member at the upcoming Annual General Meeting in April 2025. The Board intends to reappoint her as Chief Executive Officer.
This decision highlights the Board's confidence in MacGregor's leadership to continue the Group's transformation strategy. Since her appointment in January 2021, MacGregor has refocused ENGIE, transforming its organization and culture. Despite the energy crisis, the Group under her leadership maintains a solid balance sheet.
Jean-Pierre Clamadieu, Chairman of the Board, praised the transformation under MacGregor, noting that ENGIE has become a leader in low-carbon energy systems. Clamadieu emphasized the support of the Board and the commitment of ENGIE's 97,000 employees in achieving these results.
