ENOGIA wins key contract for supercritical CO2 power plant in South Korea
ENOGIA, a specialist in micro-turbomachines, has announced the signing of a notable contract with Sunbo Unitech in South Korea. This project, which will use an ENOGIA turbine, is part of a research program on supercritical CO2 energy supported by the company KEPCO. This collaboration will last 20 months and is crucial for ENOGIA's Innovative Turbomachines activity.
Supercritical CO2 technology aims to improve the efficiency of power plants by offering more compact systems with lower emissions. KEPCO's project, supported by the South Korean government, could represent a significant step forward in Asia's energy transition, promoting greener electricity production.
