Eric Spencer Appointed as CEO of Arbitration Forums, Inc.
Arbitration Forums, Inc. (AF), based in Tampa, FL, announced the appointment of Eric Spencer as the new president and chief executive officer, effective May 20, 2024. Spencer, who previously held the position of vice president at American Family Insurance, will succeed Kathy Mahne as she retires from her role.
Eric Spencer, boasting a robust experience that spans over three decades in the insurance sector, served at Mercury Insurance Company before his tenure at American Family Insurance. His career highlights include significant achievements in organizational management and process improvement, coupled with a strong focus on team and relationship building.
Under Spencer's leadership, AF aims to continue its 81-year tradition of innovation in arbitration and subrogation services, enhancing its offerings to meet and exceed member needs. In 2023, AF processed claims worth over $26 billion through more than 3.5 million arbitration disputes and subrogation demands.
Spencer stated, "I am humbled and honored to continue the commendable efforts of Kathy Mahne and the AF team. We plan to further our commitment to the industry, boosting AF's value to our members."
