EURAZEO Announces Sale of 22 Hotels by Grape Hospitality
Paris, October 1, 2024 - As part of its real estate strategy, Eurazeo has announced that its 70%-owned subsidiary, Grape Hospitality, has sold a portfolio of 22 hotels in France. The hotels have been acquired by a consortium consisting of a hotel operator and a real estate investor.
This sale represents a key milestone for Grape Hospitality, allowing focus on upper midscale and upscale segments across Europe. The transaction showcases the group's operational expertise and asset management capabilities, aiming to create value for stakeholders.
Grape Hospitality, established in 2016, owns and operates 85 hotels and manages 22 others through franchise agreements, spanning over 10,000 rooms across seven European countries.
The disposal reflects a significant premium over the portfolio’s recorded value as of December 31, 2023. Post-transaction, Grape Hospitality has distributed approximately 75% of the invested equity to its shareholders.
