EUROPLASMA announces the lifting of the conditions precedent for the takeover of MG-Valdunes

Europlasma, a major player in waste treatment and decarbonization, confirms with the Lille-Métropole Commercial Court the lifting of the suspensive conditions concerning its offer to take over MG-Valdunes, a French manufacturer of axles and wheels for the railway sector . This step paves the way for safeguarding the only train wheel production sector in France.

To succeed in this recovery, a financing plan of more than 35 million euros over three years has been outlined, with contributions from Europlasma (€15 million), the State (€15 million in loans), and local authorities. (€5 million) and SNCF (€1 million), to revitalize the two production sites. The finalization of this project remains subject to court approval, scheduled for March 20, 2024.
