Eutelsat and ATSS strengthen their collaboration for satellite services in MENA

Eutelsat Group and Advanced Telecommunications Solutions and Services (ATSS) have renewed a strategic contract for the EUTELSAT 8 West B satellite. This partnership, formalized at the LEAP event in Riyadh, aims to maintain and develop satellite broadcasting services in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA).

Thanks to the satellite’s Ku-band coverage, ATSS will be able to expand its broadcast service offering, reinforcing its regional leadership position. Eutelsat 8 West B will continue to support the broadcast of a multitude of television channels, confirming the 7/8° West orbital position as a major audiovisual hub in the region.

José Ignacio González-Núñez, Eutelsat Video Sales Director for MENA, expressed his satisfaction with the renewal of the partnership, highlighting its importance for the future growth of ATSS.
