Termination of contracts by Eutelsat with RSCC

Eutelsat has announced the termination of contracts for capacity on the Express AT1 and AT2 satellites, owned by the Russian operator RSCC. This decision stems from the malfunction of Express AT1 and the planned repositioning of Express AT2. These contracts supplemented the coverage provided by the EUTELSAT 36C and 36D satellites.

Despite this termination, the impact on Eutelsat's revenue will be limited, remaining in the low range in millions. No significant impact is expected on EBITDA for fiscal year 2025-26. Eutelsat's geostationary fleet will now comprise 31 satellites, down from 33 previously.
