EVN AG and STRABAG SE Agree on Potential Sale of WTE Wassertechnik

EVN AG and STRABAG SE have agreed on key terms for the potential sale of WTE Wassertechnik GmbH to STRABAG Group. This potential transaction will involve significant parts of EVN Group's international environmental project business. The transaction is still subject to binding documents, necessary approvals, and completion conditions, including merger and investment control.

The expected purchase price is EUR 100 million and is anticipated to not significantly impact EVN's financial results for 2024/2025. However, this move aligns with EVN's Strategy 2030 by focusing on its core business and reducing its risk profile in the environmental segment.

Projects already completed in Budva, Zagreb, and Prague are excluded from this transaction. For ongoing projects in Kuwait and Bahrain, EVN will keep part of the financing and guarantees, retaining participation in their outcomes.
