EXACOMPTA CLAIREFONTAINE Reports Decrease in H1 2025 Profits

EXACOMPTA CLAIREFONTAINE's Board of Directors, led by François Nusse, has approved the financial results for the first half of 2025. The company's revenue stood at €393.7 million, down from €408.4 million in the same period in 2024. Operating income dropped significantly to €11.6 million compared to €21.2 million in H1 2024, while net income after tax decreased to €6.5 million from €16.5 million previously.

The paper segment's performance was affected by an 8% decline in European consumption of uncoated wood-free papers, coupled with a decrease in production and rising energy costs. The processing sector faced challenges as well, witnessing declines in manufactured paper revenues and filing items in France.

The company anticipates continued difficulties, with operating income expected to fall by a similar percentage in the latter half of the year. Leadership changes have also been announced, with Guillaume Nusse appointed as Chairman and Frédéric Nusse as CEO.
