The board of directors of EXACOMPTA CLAIREFONTAINE, chaired by François NUSSE, has validated the group's accounts as of June 30, 2024. Revenue for the first half of 2024 reached €408,424K, compared to €421,860K in 2023. Operating income amounted to €21,156K, down from €46,206K the previous year.
In the paper sector, sales increased by 17%, despite a decline in margins due to higher pulp prices and energy costs increased by 3%. In converting, turnover from converted papers and filing products both declined, impacting the group's margins.
In terms of outlook, a decline in raw material prices is expected in the second half of the year. However, it is uncertain whether demand for paper will be sustained. Operating income for the financial year 2024 is expected to be lower than that of 2023.
As of June 30, 2024, EXACOMPTA CLAIREFONTAINE has gross financial debt of €213,058K. Consolidated equity amounts to €520,562K. The group has gross cash of €109,539K and net debt of €103,519K.
