Executive Board of Symrise AG Reorganized
Symrise AG announced changes to its Executive Board effective September 15, 2024. Walter Ribeiro has been appointed as the new Board Member for the Taste, Nutrition & Health segment. His predecessor, Dr. Jean-Yves Parisot, will temporarily head the Scent & Care segment, following Dr. Jörn Andreas's resignation effective September 30, 2024.
Walter Ribeiro, previously the global head of Symrise's Food & Beverage division, will bring his extensive experience to his new role. Ribeiro's promotion reaffirms Symrise's commitment to internal leadership development.
Dr. Jörn Andreas leaves Symrise after thirteen years, having made significant contributions to its international growth and successful realignment of the Scent & Care segment. The company has initiated a search for his permanent successor.
Michael König, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, and Dr. Jean-Yves Parisot expressed appreciation for Andreas's contributions and optimism about Ribeiro's new role, emphasizing a seamless transition and continued strategic progress.
