Extension of KBC Group anchoring agreements

On 29 November 2024, shareholders Cera, KBC Ancora, MRBB and other stable shareholders decided to extend their syndicate for KBC Group for a further ten years. This extension, which came into force on 1 December 2024, consolidates their holding at 41.75% of the total outstanding capital of KBC.
This initiative ensures shareholder stability, which is considered crucial for the future development of the group. Since its creation, KBC has been based on a group of fixed shareholders. The initial agreement, signed in 2004, was already extended for the first time in 2014.
The shareholder details are as follows: KBC Ancora holds 18.58%, Cera 3.97%, MRBB 12.44%, and other stable shareholders 6.77%.
