Falcon Gold Corp Announces Permit Approval for Drilling at Great Burnt Copper Project in Newfoundland
Falcon Gold Corp has obtained drilling permit approval for its Great Burnt Copper Project in central Newfoundland, aiming to initially drill up to ten geophysical anomalies spanning a maximum of 1100 metres. The company is in the planning phase for the drilling program, with further updates expected soon. Falcon's CEO, Karim Rayani, expressed enthusiasm for expanding the company's presence in the Great Burnt Copper District, emphasizing the unexplored potential of the property's northern conductive trend for hosting orogenic gold and copper-bearing massive-sulphide mineralization.
Falcon holds 2,275 hectares in the Great Burnt Camp, positioned north of the Benton Resources Inc. - Spruce Ridge Resources Ltd. joint venture, which recently reported high-grade drilling results. The Great Burnt Copper Property, within the Great Burnt Greenstone Belt, is known for its potential in hosting Besshi-type massive sulphide deposits, which can contain copper, gold, silver, and other precious metals. The area's geological profile and its proximity to other significant mining areas highlight its exploration potential.
