Falcon Provides Update on Great Burnt Copper Project Drill Program
Falcon Gold Corp. has released an update on its inaugural drilling program at the Great Burnt Copper Project in Newfoundland. The company experienced delays earlier in the year due to high water levels, which required additional permits to build 8 km of access roads. This construction is expected to conclude by week's end, allowing equipment mobilization soon after.
CEO Karim Rayani noted that Falcon is positioned in a high-grade copper district and is almost ready to begin operations. The planned drilling will target up to ten geophysical anomalies over a maximum of 1100 meters.
Falcon holds 2,275 hectares in the Great Burnt camp. The neighboring Benton Resources project holds significant copper resources, with recent drilling showing promising results such as 7.20% Cu over 12.30 meters. These findings underscore the potential of the region for both copper and gold exploration.
