Faraday Copper Identifies Significant Copper Mineralization at Copper Creek
Faraday Copper Corp. announced results from the Phase III drill program at its Copper Creek Project in Arizona. Seven drill holes targeted near-surface supergene copper mineralization, focusing on oxide mineralization distribution. Significant findings include high copper grades, with 10.08 meters at 3.62% copper near the Globe breccia and 38.90 meters at 0.51% copper north of it.
The identified copper oxide minerals, including malachite and chrysocolla, offer potential for early copper cathode production in the project. Additionally, copper sulphide mineralization was found transitioning from 21 meters downhole at the Copper Giant breccia.
The results support further exploration to expand the near-surface oxide resource. Future drill programs aim to optimize project staging and enhance shareholder returns through high-margin cathode production upfront.
