Faraday Copper Intersects Promising Copper Mineralization at Copper Creek
Faraday Copper Corp. (TSX:FDY, OTCQX:CPPKF) has released positive results from four additional drill holes at the Copper Creek Project in Arizona. In the ongoing Phase III drill program, promising mineralization near the surface has been confirmed.
President and CEO Paul Harbidge noted that the new findings at the American Eagle area enhance confidence in the project's potential for open pit resource growth. He highlighted that significant copper intervals above the resource cutoff grade were identified. The drilling continues with a focus on untested breccias within the area.
Drill hole FCD-24-069 at the Prada breccia confirmed near-surface mineralization, intersecting 29.08 meters at 0.62% copper within a broader interval of 190.25 meters at 0.23% copper. Three other holes showed early halo vein mineralization outside the breccias in the American Eagle area.
Current efforts aim to expand the Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) and delineate high-grade zones. So far, 36 drill holes have been completed under Phase III, with results from 32 holes published. The assay results for additional drill holes are expected soon as the company continues analysis.
