FCC Servicios Medio Ambiente Appoints New CEO, Inigo Sanz
FCC Servicios Medio Ambiente Holding, based in Madrid, announced Inigo Sanz as its new Chief Executive Officer. Inigo Sanz previously managed FCC Environmental Services in the Americas and boasts over 30 years in the waste management sector. His background includes a Chemical Sciences degree, a master’s in Environmental Law, and an MBA. Throughout his nearly three decades at the FCC Group, Sanz held roles in operations and sales, and he led significant expansions in both Europe and America.
Formerly the CEO for the Americas at FCC Servicios Medio Ambiente, Sanz significantly expanded the company’s operations in the U.S., managing a $5 billion contract portfolio and fostering a workforce of over 2,000 employees. His new duties will involve guiding the company through further growth and consolidation in its various global markets, with a strong emphasis on environmental sustainability.
