FE Battery Metals Reports Promising Lithium Results from Augustus Lithium Property
FE Battery Metals Corp. announced successful lithium extraction results from drill hole LC23-88 at its Augustus Lithium Property in Quebec, Canada. The company highlighted significant findings of lithium oxide and other rare metals in three spodumene-bearing lithium pegmatites. Notably, one segment displayed a concentration of 1.05% lithium oxide over 8.75 meters.
The report also detailed intercepts from other pegmatite sections within the drill hole. The upper section contained 1.18% lithium oxide over three meters with additional rare metals like beryllium and rubidium. The middle section showed similar lithium levels over one meter, while another meter in the same pegmatite traced significant cesium and rubidium. The comprehensive drilling program accumulated over 16,600 meters across 89 drill holes.
Samples from these drills were processed and analyzed using advanced methods at ACTLABS, an ISO-certified laboratory. The results from ICP-MS and ICP-OES techniques confirmed the presence of lithium and a variety of other important metals. Outlined quality control measures such as inserting field duplicates and standards ensure the validity and accuracy of the data reported. FE Battery Metals Corp. is also preparing to grant restricted share units to some directors and consultants.
