Fielmann Group Appoints First American to Management Board

The Fielmann Group has announced the appointment of Peter Lothes to its Management Board, effective March 1, 2025. Lothes, who has served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) since 2023, will continue managing the company's Manufacturing and Logistics functions. This appointment marks Lothes as the first American to join the Fielmann Management Board, highlighting the company's commitment to the US market.

With over three decades of industry experience, Lothes has held significant executive roles in global optical businesses. He began his career in his family’s optical business in Ohio and later held leadership positions at Essilor and Satisloh. His extensive experience aligns with Fielmann’s Vision 2025 plan, focusing on international expansion and cost-effective, high-quality products.
