FIGEAC AÉRO North America, the Wichita-based subsidiary of FIGEAC AÉRO, has been awarded a new contract by Textron Aviation Defense, LLC, to produce wing skins for the Beechcraft T-6 Texan II and AT-6 Wolverine aircraft. Valued at €5 million, this contract leverages FIGEAC AÉRO's machining and processing capabilities, emphasizing its presence in the aerospace hub of Wichita.
This partnership underlines the company's local-to-local strategy. By operating close to its client, Textron Aviation, FIGEAC AÉRO aims to reduce costs and carbon emissions while using its existing capacity efficiently. The arrangement requires minimal investments, aligning with their fiscal strategies.
