Smart City Expo Doha Unites Experts to Transform Middle Eastern Urban Landscapes
From November 25 to 26, Smart City Expo Doha will host over 30 international experts discussing the role of technology in transforming Middle Eastern urban environments. Organized by Fira de Barcelona and Qatar's Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, the event highlights the potential of artificial intelligence in areas like mobility, design, and urban management.
The event's theme, 'Beyond connectivity: a digital solutions pathway to a smarter, thriving future,' will explore five key areas: digital innovation, disruptive technology, digital economies, future talent, and connected infrastructure. Speakers include Kent Larson from MIT, who will discuss urban design and autonomous mobility, and Jesús Serrano, focusing on AI-driven solutions.
Furthermore, H.E. Reem Al Mansoori will present Qatar's urban transformation strategy, while Ghanim Al-Muftah will share insights on resilience and inclusive design. This event coincides with MWC25 Doha, aiming to gather over 200 speakers and exhibitors from the region.
