FireFly Automatix Hires Lindsay Jones as Chief Financial Officer
FireFly Automatix has announced the appointment of Lindsay Jones as its new Chief Financial Officer. Jones brings over 35 years of experience in financial leadership, having previously served as CFO at TruGolf Holdings. His career includes successfully navigating a SPAC-merger and raising over $500 million in equity and debt for various companies.
Jones replaces Michael Pettingill, who left for family reasons. FireFly Automatix CEO, Andrew Limpert, emphasized that Jones's expertise is crucial as the company enters a significant growth phase. The firm's new Autonomous Mowing Platform (AMP) aims to address labor shortages in the golf and sports turf industries.
Jones expressed his enthusiasm for joining FireFly, highlighting the company's potential to disrupt larger markets with its autonomous electric vehicle technology. He looks forward to contributing to FireFly's expansion and capital formation efforts.
