First Graphene Acquires Key Assets in Graphene Coatings Sector

First Graphene Limited has entered a binding agreement to acquire substantial assets from Ionic Industries Inc. and Imagine Intelligent Materials. This acquisition, valued at AU$250,000, comprises manufacturing facilities, intellectual property, and sales channels. The strategic move allows First Graphene immediate entry into established graphene coatings markets, notably geotextiles and environmental infrastructure.

The technologies acquired have shown commercial success, particularly in geotextiles, enhancing barrier and conductivity properties. This aligns with First Graphene's PureGRAPH® portfolio and opens doors to applications in water containment, landfill barriers, and construction materials.

This acquisition promises new revenue streams and strengthens First Graphene’s presence in scalable global markets. The company will leverage existing distribution networks to accelerate growth in the graphene coating formulations sector, emphasizing a focused strategy distinct from its predecessors.
