First Mining Expands and Advances High-Grade Gold Discovery at Birch-Uchi Project

First Mining Gold Corp. unveiled new assay results for the Challenger high-grade gold discovery at its Birch-Uchi Greenstone Belt Exploration Project in northwestern Ontario. The Challenger target area, near the Springpole Gold Project, revealed four new gold occurrences during the 2024 field mapping program, including visible gold in grab and channel samples.

Highlights include channel samples yielding 6.53 g/t Au over 3 meters, and grab samples reaching 26.6 g/t Au. These findings indicate an expansion of the mineralization footprint. CEO Dan Wilton expressed optimism in realizing immense value through their exploration efforts.

The Challenger target's proximity to the Springpole Gold Project and the expanding gold mineralization system positions it as a high-priority exploration target. Mapping and sampling efforts have extended the known mineralization area, with further exploration planned to unlock additional discoveries.
