First Phosphate announces a major new discovery on its Begin-Lamarche project
First Phosphate Corp. unveiled the results of 11 new drillings on its Bégin-Lamarche project in Saguenay-Lac-St-Jean, Quebec. These results include a remarkable interval of 8.9% igneous phosphate over 156 meters.
The drilling program, covering 25,929 meters, was completed ahead of the April 29, 2024 deadline. A resource estimate and preliminary economic assessment are expected by the end of the fourth fiscal quarter.
Notable results include drill hole BL-24-95 in the Mountain Zone, which returned 8.9% P2O5 over 156.0 meters, and drill hole BL-24-88 in the South Zone, which returned 7.18% P2O5 over 156.0 meters. P2O5 over 144.0 meters.
John Passalacqua, CEO of First Phosphate, said: "We have a significant phosphate horizon which will soon be quantified by a resource estimate followed by a preliminary economic assessment."
