Fnac Darty launches a public offer for Unieuro
On August 29, 2024, Fnac Darty SA and RUBY Equity Investment S.à.rl responded to the publication of Unieuro's Response Information Memorandum. This note incorporates the fairness opinions issued by financial advisors Equita SIM SpA and Mediobanca Banca di Credito Finanzario SpA.
The purchase offer proposed by Fnac Darty for each Unieuro share consists of 9.0 euros in cash and 0.10 Fnac Darty shares, representing a premium of 42% on the average Unieuro share price at the close of July 15, 2024. This transaction aims to create a European leader in specialized distribution.
The offer period, agreed with Borsa Italiana SpA, will run from 2 September 2024, 8:30 a.m., to 25 October 2024, 5:30 p.m., for 40 trading days. Extensions remain possible.
