Focus Graphite Reports Significant Mineralization at Lac Tétépisca Project
Focus Graphite Inc. has announced notable results from its 2022 drilling program at the Manicouagan-Ouest Graphitic Corridor (MOGC) in Québec. All seven deep definition holes intersected substantial graphitic mineralization, with highlights including 82.91 meters grading 13.81% Cg. This demonstrates the deposit's continuity and expansion potential.
Marc Roy, President and CEO, emphasized that 27 holes drilled in 2022 form a key milestone towards an updated resource estimate for Lac Tétépisca. Significant intersections were noted at vertical depths between 160 and 300 meters, highlighting both the depth continuity and potential extension below 200 meters.
The MOGC deposit boasts an Indicated Resource of 59.3 million tonnes grading 10.61% Graphitic Carbon, marking it as one of Québec's substantial flake graphite discoveries. The ongoing exploration and drilling aim to convert Inferred resources to Indicated and identify new satellite deposits.
