Formycon Announces Key Details for Annual General Meeting 2024 and Changes in Supervisory Board
Formycon AG has summoned its shareholders to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for June 12, 2024. The meeting will take place at the Haus der Bayerischen Wirtschaft in Munich, Germany. Highlighting the AGM's agenda are the election of new Supervisory Board members and the proposal to expand the board size to five members to enhance international focus and industry expertise.
The company announced the planned resignation of Dr. Olaf Stiller, Chair of the Supervisory Board, and his deputy Peter Wendeln, effective from the date of the AGM. They have been part of the board for over 10 years. To fill these and a new board position, Formycon has nominated Colin Bond, former CFO of Sandoz Group AG, along with Dr. Bodo Coldewey, Managing Director at WEGA Invest GmbH, and Nicholas Haggar, CEO of healthqube Ltd, for election.
Wolfgang Essler, current member, is set to take over as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board post-election. The restructured board aims to support Formycon’s ambitions in the growing biosimilars market, reflecting its sustained commitment to broadening its global footprint and reinforcing its leadership in the industry.
