Forte Minerals Acquires Miscanthus Gold and Copper Prospects in Perú
Forte Minerals Corp. has completed the acquisition of the Miscanthus prospects, consisting of high-sulphidation epithermal gold and porphyry copper systems in Central Perú. This acquisition, sourced from Globetrotters Resource Group Inc., includes four concessions covering 3,200 hectares. The ownership transfer is planned to Forte's subsidiary, Cordillera Resources Perú S.A.C.
The agreement requires a cash payment of $27,000 and the issuance of 3 million Forte shares, along with a 1.0% net smelter return royalty to Globetrotters. The Miscanthus property is strategically positioned 390 km southeast of Lima and benefits from existing infrastructure and environmental permits for extensive drilling, significantly de-risking exploration activities.
Previous exploration outlined potential for large Cu-Mo-Au deposits, supported by notable geochemical anomalies. CEO Patrick Elliott emphasized the acquisition's strategic value and the advantages of having existing drill permits, which accelerate exploration potential.
