Francotyp-Postalia Reports Decline in Nine-Month Financial Figures
Francotyp-Postalia Holding AG reports a decline in revenue and EBITDA over the first nine months of 2024, linked to the sale of its Mail Services division, freesort. The company's consolidated revenue dropped to EUR 126.8 million from EUR 132.4 million the previous year, while EBITDA decreased to EUR 18.5 million from EUR 19.6 million.
Despite these declines, net profit increased to EUR 7.7 million, attributed primarily to the freesort sale and tax refunds. Revenue from their core Mailing & Shipping Solutions segment declined by 2.7%, impacted by global mail volume decreases. Conversely, the Digital Business Solutions division experienced a 10.5% revenue fall, continuing to feel the effects of reduced mail demand.
The company's forecast for 2024 remains unchanged amid challenging economic conditions, expecting up to a 7% revenue decline compared to the previous year. Revenue developments showed strong cash flow improvement, with free cash flow rising from EUR 5.6 million to EUR 20.5 million.
