Freenet AG CEO Christoph Vilanek to Step Down
Büdelsdorf, 21 July 2024 – freenet AG has announced that CEO Christoph Vilanek will not extend his term of office. Vilanek informed the Personnel Committee of the Supervisory Board of his decision. His contract will end on 31 December 2025 at the earliest.
The Supervisory Board has initiated the search for a new CEO. Details about the succession plan have not yet been disclosed.
freenet AG, a major player in telecommunications, listed on the MDAX and TecDAX indices, will continue its operations while searching for a new leader.
