Funding Circle Reports Strong H1 2025 Growth
Funding Circle Holdings plc recorded notable growth in the first half of 2025. The Group extended £1.1 billion in credit to UK businesses, a 21% increase from 2024. Revenue climbed 17% to £92.3 million, and profit before tax (PBT) rose sharply from £0.5 million in 2024 to £6.0 million.
The company's Term Loans business achieved £12.7 million in PBT, supported by product innovation. The FlexiPay and Cashback credit card products demonstrated significant scale increases, with transactions up 66%. Balances in FlexiPay rose 42% compared to the previous year.
Despite a decrease in unrestricted cash linked to share buybacks and investments, the firm remains on track to meet its 2026 revenue and PBT targets. Recent board changes include new appointments for strategic roles. Funding Circle remains focused on driving sustainable growth through customer-centric initiatives.
