Fury Gold Mines Reports Positive Drilling Results at Éléonore South

Vancouver, BC - Fury Gold Mines Limited (TSX:FURY, NYSE American:FURY) announced promising results from its Spring 2024 diamond core drilling program at the Éléonore South gold project in Quebec. The drilling program, covering 2,331.4 meters across seven drill holes, revealed significant gold mineralization. Highlights include 137.5 meters of 0.44 g/t gold from drill hole 24ES-161 and 115.5 meters of 0.50 g/t gold from drill hole 24ES-162.

Fury aims to complete its biogeochemical sampling grid in summer 2024. This effort focuses on identifying drill targets within the same sedimentary rock package that hosts Newmont's Éléonore Mine. CEO Tim Clark emphasized the company’s strategy to expand its exploration activities, particularly at the Eau Claire project.

The Éléonore South project is strategically located near prolific gold mineralization sites, including Newmont's Éléonore Mine and Sirios' Cheechoo deposit. Previous drilling defined a large zone of lower-grade gold mineralization with high-grade potential within structurally controlled quartz vein stockworks.

Analytical samples from the drilling program were processed by ALS Chemex in Val D'or, Quebec. The company assures good accuracy and precision in mineral testing, with hopes to finalize drill targets following the completion of the biogeochemical grid.
