FY2024 Annual Results: FDE's Growth and Strategic Focus
French company Française de l'Énergie (FDE) reported robust FY2024 financial results, confirming the resilience of its business model and growth strategy. The company achieved revenues of €31.4 million and an EBITDA of €19.7 million, reflecting a strong margin of 63%, despite adjusted energy prices post-Covid.
FDE's strategy includes expanding its low-carbon energy portfolio, marked by acquiring a 56.35% stake in Greenstat, enhancing its hydrogen and solar project capabilities in Europe. Despite a slight decline in net income to €9.7 million, the company's financial stability remains solid, supported by a conservative debt level and a cash position of €47.6 million.
Looking ahead, FDE reaffirms its 2030 targets, aiming for annual revenues above €175 million and over 20 million tons of CO2 emissions avoided annually. Growth initiatives include new facilities in Norway and continued investments in renewable energy projects.
